obviously the modern pros hit a lot longer but that is debatable becoz of advancement in equipment and ball technology.

The one thing I failed to understand is that how come the latest technology can help the golfer in gaining distance but not accuracy? How come the current pros are missing more fairways as compared to the those from the earlier eras?

A lot of the courses have been "tiger-proofed" ... every yr before the masters golf digest shows the changes made to Augusta over the yrs ... Take a look, its quite interesting ...

And the obvious: the further you hit the bigger a mishit will be, e.g. A 5 deg push over 330yds vs a 5 deg push over 275 .... And also, higher swingspeeds put exponentially more spin on the ball

Technology has helped a lot with accuracy ... Try Blades vs super game improvement irons! The sweetspot of todays drivers are insanely large!!!

Bro, if he play like last Sat, then he definitely can GIR loh.
If I recall correctly, he played 89 (inclusive of a 10 on the short par 4)......dun ask me why he got 10, he just shouted to me 10 and I recorded the score

Urs is certainly very straight.
I have yet to see someone drive until the longkang on Kranji hole 10.
I look fwd to another game with you.
I think a fairer stoke adv for me will be 5-5, can boh?
