Bro haragolfer, it's 4631..tip v soft but still got a boat load of kick! Base on LM, it's quite high launch. Although heavier than the C Kua tat I was using, 39 vs 56, I m able to hit it just as far. Need to verify on green though..

Hey guys,

Need some advice here.

Some background info, since I shortened and stiffened my CG Black (and stuck some lead tape below), I am very happy with the results. Will be sticking with it for some time. However, I do need a 2nd driver for the golf set which I use for games in Singapore.

For those of you who have tried both the CG Black and the CG Classic, how would you compare them? If not, how would you compare them against previous drivers you have used?

At $179 at the Isetan Sale, I am very tempted. But as some others have mentioned, there are many choices of head and shaft, so will need your help to decipher it all.

Thanks in advance!

My CG Black is a 9Deg with stock Stiff Miyazaki

Trimmed 3/4 in off the tip to stiffen (+1/4 off butt for overall reduction of 1in)

Had issues launching after cutting, but stuck 5gm of lead tape below and everything works fine now.

I do fight a hook (start right or straight then hard left) with normal launch angle and height. But I would not put it down the driver as it can happen with any club
