| I actually like that it is adjustable. It might allow this driver to compete with some of the bigger companies who offer that adjustability. While there is something to be said about not offering that and being more classic, and being different, I think it eliminates some of your potential market. Smart move as far as I am concerned.
I know the Cleveland line has actually been pretty strong in recent years. This is just a continued evolution in the process. I would not mind hitting that driver because it does look really good.

| The finishing is nice.
Golfer who likes classic driver look with modern finishing will like this. And yet comes with adjustable technology to suit individual.

| this is brilliant
they have combined the look of the CG black with the Classic, plus the adjustability of modern day drivers
This will be a hit | |

| There will be 2 versions actually. The Classic XL pictured above is fixed. There will be Classic XL Custom that will be adjustable.
Question is whether both will be available here in SG. I have been waiting since the sneak peeks releases last Nov.

| Not to mention, they come stock with authentic miyazaki shafts....B.Asha for the Classic XL n JDL for Classic XL Custom... low spin face + good looks + premium shafts = deadly combo! P.S. I like the gold trimmings on the XL Custom better than the silver on the XL

| Just realized the stock shaft is sensibly set as 45'' not some ridiculously long 46" driver that other companies are hawking Even if one decides to trim down to, say, 44.5" one can add weights in then weight pods to maintain swing weight If there is something I not like, is the headcover
But overall its a nice package with adjustability

| Very very sleek looking classic driver!
Cleveland seems to be taking heed the feedback given and producing smtg that's commercially norm by now and yet classic shape & sticking to traditional look lat the same time.
Methinks they are on their way Up with this.

| Globalgolf (and I'm sure other sites as well) have this available for pre-order. The Classic XL is $249 while the Classic XL Custom is $329. Deliveries from 15 Feb. There will also be the Classic XL FW which goes for $179. Yes, hybrids too but they don't look as nice. Can't wait | |

Can't wait It's weird that the Classic XL is going for the same price as the prev Classic 310. But it's still better than the 399-499 that we see for the other leading drivers. BTW anyone has feedback on the Matrix Black tie shaft ot the JDL 6. Graphics on the Miyazaki looks killer!

BTW anyone has feedback on the Matrix Black tie shaft ot the JDL 6. Graphics on the Miyazaki looks killer! Can't much abt the Black Tie but the JDL is base on the Dromos. Instead of a slightly stiffer tip in the Dromos, the JDL features a softer tip. E.g. Dromos 61 Stiff is 5534 whereas the JDL 6 Stiff is 5543. The dromos is a mid launch shaft and its very stable. I have it in my Z Star driver and its consistent no matter which orientation I put it in...The JDL should be slightly higher launch. Just found a test on the JDL...as with everything else on the net, take it with a pinch of salt. http://yakuzagolf.com/golf-tech/miyazaki-jdl-shaft-test-specifically-designed-for-adjustable-woods/
