Ya man....it has been a long long wait! Toughing out so many 4 nights in a row to watch him and to root for him have caused real backache and hurt my liver.
He got mental block, no doubt he is making progress.

Hehehe.... His biggest block re Mcllroy! When he played well, Rory played better!

I think its his drive and putting. His drive a much more wilder than what he used to be. The other was his putting.

I think he needs to remember how it's like to win again. Not winning PGA events but winning the grand slams. Right now, his biggest obstacle IMHO is himself. He needs to tell himself that he can do it and Rory is just another name on the leaderboard. If he can do that, he has a chance. If not, he'll get rolled over the Rorymania and will stumble into the background.

Is there really anything wrong with his current swing?

Oddly enough I have heard tv experts say he has too much fwd shaft lean!! Making distance control with his wedges very difficult!

His weekend woes continues; though the results hv been improving. I could see he has regained his mojo. Whether or not you noticed in past few tourneys, all leader collapsed in finally rd; simply caved in to pressure. Ernie who won the Open, I found luck was on his side coz all on first page of leader board all shot at least 2 over par on the final rd, if not mistaken. While he was playing a few flights ahead; the magnitude of the pressure could be a lot lesser.
TW Just needs to plod along. The ultimate definition of success about TW is breaking Jack's major records.

Rory is simply fearless; his biggest weapon is his driver and laser sharp iron shots. Nemesis to many on the field!

Yes, agree. Ain't gonna be easy but never write him off just yet. If you take the total majors won by the current top 20 players; not even close to what TW has achieved. Yes, he is that good.
And watching Rory now is like the young Tiger in 2000.
