| don't worry about score...
just make sure you enforce safe play, rake bunker after you take a shot in one, fill divot with sand and repair pitch mark on green...
score will be pre-determin from the score you previously recorded.

| If not mistaken , it will be the par3 course (9hole)......Note : if not mistaken, there is this bloody interesing hole, whereby you tee-off fm the bunker...hahahah
PS: I went for the test sometime back...

| I had mine some years ago liao....played the returning holes from the (old) Navy course.... Started at hole 1 and ended at hole 6. Yup, like bro Golfnuts said, emphasis is place more on safety n rules.....
All The Best to your HC test.......cheers

| DS, the par 3 course is for the PC test, not hcp test...
Golfnuts is right, yr hcp already more or less pre-determine from the scores u submitted prior to the test..
the tester is abit KL wan... true they are more concern on safe play, divots repair, golf enti etc......

Do you mean the 5X18 holes score cards submit before the test? Some place take hcp test first then subit 5x18holes cards. Non-member can take hcp at NSRCC or not? I am interested but not NSman.

| for NSRCC, u need to have their PC first.....
then u can start to collect n submit the 5 x 18 (last time i need to submit 10x 18) with scores of 102 or better (not sure abt now)
after submitting, then u can book the HCP test...
the above is for those golfer w/o hcp when joining....

| Had my hcp there too... was at the ARMY course. The tester there are all volunteer members. I find that they are quite friendly.. but do remember to repair whatever needed. Especially the ball marks, even it was not ur ball marks... you will see lots of ball marks on the green just repair when u see them. I've passed my hcp at my first attemp.. had played badly eg: dbl par... Just make sure ur ball can fly, no slow play.. etc. etc.. ALL THE BEST.. | |

score will be pre-determin from the score you previously recorded. Just to add, we carryout these not just when you are going for H'cap Test. It is a mandatory practice as Golfer to keep the Green green for all golfers to play each time. hahaha!

NSRCC members is always been commended for hte way they carry the sand bottles around even when they are playing at other courses and one does feel good when it's a compliments from the marshall ... just for eg i was at keppel 2 weeks ago and this was the conversation with the marshal at the starting point ... marhsal ... welcome to keppel blar blar blar and do rem to carry the sand bottle and repair divots ... my reply : oh no worries, we always do that at our club ... his reply ... oh ! u must be from Safra NSRCC and i said yup and he said, OH, we simply HAVE NO PROBLEMS with SAFRA GOLFERS ! so besides passing the test, do continue and cultiavate all the good habits .... : ))) cheers and good luck ....

| Think only SSG conduct their CR at the NSRCC par 3 course.. But quite challenging that. Must complete all 9 holes with score of less than 45. The bunker hole is really a pain sia. | |
