Honestly speaking, there are no "time frame"
you just worked "things" according to budget, storage space, and "Yes Approval" from your "Tamer"....
granting you are the "Tiger" on the house, your Tiger tamer should not be "Mad" at your new Golf toys.

We need to progressively move towards more difficult and unforgiving clubs (the ultimate goal will be to tee off with a broom stick) so that we can remain as seasoned beginners and still be eligible for stokes

Think its at T.Putri A course 2-3yrs ago n this uncle (small build, skinny, pant wore abv waist level) fm frt flight was teeg off, and his stance was kind of wide fr a small build golfer then both his feet lifted up like M.J n his neck sank dwn to his shoulder as his swing plate cme dwn......then there goes e ball...... My flight mates was like OMG OMG....!!!! Ball realli fly.. So regardless of whether nice swing, normal swing or ugly swing, importantly yr style n yr game re gd!

i have some suggestion....
for irons - Braun is not bad and less expensive than Philips. Panasonic looks good but i don't like the Singapore boss, so die die want to look good, Tefal is not too bad.
for hybrid - i prefer the RX450h over the Prius
for driver - its best to advertise in the Straits Times, but the investment is high but the reach (cost per thousand) is lower. for a lower cost but effective reach, try advertising in TNP on mondays (during EPL season)
for putter - verb means "To occupy oneself in an aimless or ineffective manner", i suggest you try knitting.com, breastfeeding.com, askbutneverchange.com, and finally boliaoking.com
have a great day DS......

We are all curious basterds!!!
Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a theory in psychology, proposed by Abraham Maslow in his 1943 paper "A Theory of Human Motivation".[2] Maslow subsequently extended the idea to include his observations of humans' innate curiosity. His theories parallel many other theories of human developmental psychology, all of which focus on describing the stages of growth in humans. Maslow use the terms Physiological, Safety, Belongingness and Love, Esteem, and Self-Actualization needs to describe the pattern that human motivations generally move through.

But it would be hard pressed to have Maslow define shiny new golf clubs as needs.
Then again, I may be wrong.....he may be a golfer too.
