Any suggestion?
I am currently using irons, hybrid and driver and one putter.
Reason for asking.......I am doing budgeting for coming new year...and the need to ask this question arises.

What are your goals for the coming new year? ... too not embarrass yourself/ maintain standards/ keep up with kakis/ beat the crap out of kakis/ turn pro?
For me, even if my games not improving, a new club gives the illusion that things are changing and usually improving ...

As a fellow seasoned beginner, I usually change my clubs once I am comfortable and start playing well with them...
We need to progressively move towards more difficult and unforgiving clubs (the ultimate goal will be to tee off with a broom stick) so that we can remain as seasoned beginners and still be eligible for stokes

Mate..
Change What ????
1. Change your driver so u can hit further? Some people can't cos they are born small and skinny.. No choice, whatever driver they use max max just 230m, 70m behind somebody in this forum.. So really need to change?
2. Change putter ? Is it really the problem?? After all, can u really see the difference or feel the difference between a Scotty and a MacGregor ??
3. How about Changing golf partners ?? Maybe you will play better when you relieve yourself and start playing with different people and learn different things from them?? I learnt a lot from some of my new friends in this forum, like taking really long to make a putt.. It works !!
4. Changing the same old courses you play? I realized playing different courses benefits me differently.. So how about Garden??
Changes may not bring better results.. But maybe you feel more song from spending your hard earned mula...

Duval's swing is his trademark.
Just like Golfool. Try asking Golfool to change his swing. Ugly as it may be but hey he shot 73 with that swing. If he changes his swing I'll probably have to give him strokes.

Speaking about odd/ugly and effective swing. unless you swing like one of the guys in the video, or else I don't think it's odd/ugly.

Actually, it's not Duval's swing as much as his stance. I like how he locks his knee in so that he produces a good stack and tilt swing. When I first saw it, I was thinking... what the heck? Easy money!!
Then, he scored 90 or 91, and I just paid up, drank my teh and went home to cry.

Ugly or not, it's not a problem as long as the ball roll into the holes, from what I heard even sir charles is something like single digit hcp...
