cheers... Yes, u can. In malaysia on weekdays, they usually close one eye. But not all courses though. I have played alone in Legends, Poresia, Tanjong putri and Palm Villa. They do not allow one ballers in Palm Resort.
A lot of ppe think that i am crazy, but its actually quite therapeutic, spending the time on your own. I would pack some sandwiches and have a flask of coffee, stop by some nice scenery, have a bite and continue playing again. Very nice. You sure you alone? Not packing a caddy and stop by the (bushes) scenery to enjoy..... something..? You know me brudder. I don like caddies

Pls don mislead DWK. His version of a good caddy and my version is very different. haha... apologise for any misleading unintented...just to share my experience so far playing in Palm Spring Occiasionally i went there alone too, wanted to play golf on my own, and it's their policy to assign a caddy to the player. I had an incident where I play badly on my short game, couldn't control my distance, swing badly, and putt badly too, the male caddy assign to me is very patient, he watch me on the first few hole, not making much comment, then gradually, he guided me, give me advise on how to manage short game on different lie and how to manage my putting. As a matter of fact, I learn a lot from him that day and really enjoy the game that day. That is why my comment on caddy there is quite good....keke I brought friends who started playing golf with me to Palm Spring too and so far they give good comment on the caddy. Maybe we are lucky to meet friendly caddy there...haha !! cheers !!

| Try Batam. I played at Palm Spings by myself. And no worries about if anything happen to you, your caddy will be there to raise the alarm. | |

cheers... Yes, you can do that in Malaysia on some courses during weekdays. I suggest you take a drive from Spore to KL which you are already alone for 3.5hrs. I would also like to play alone. So, appreciate if you could gimme a buzz if you come. You tee off at first 9, i tee off from 2nd 9. We can have a cup of coffee at the turn; together or remain alone.

Did you ever play with Ivan from Mygolf as he play allot of golf (sometime 4 times a week ) ? Nope, Bro. A few of them which i always saw the names appear and sounds lot of fun. Just a matter of time i believe. Currently already playing 2 to 3 rds a week with my usual 3 groups (betting gp, non-betting gp, and for-the-love-of-the-game gp). Too much of it kinda 'kill" me and lose the "steam". But this few wks will definitely hv to tone down a little bit as i follow Fedex Playoffs, then The Ryder Cup. I like the forum here better where i find more energy, enthusiasm and lively discussions. So, do gimme a buzz too if you are in KL. Cheers - Francis
