Sentosa Tanjong Course

Anyone got any advice? Playing there this Thursday. Never played Tanjong before.

it is a nice course..just pray it goes straight..very tight fairway

Nice course.

Narrow, short golf course that is usually in pristine condition. The greens are pretty large. This would make yardages a little tricky. Hope you are armed with a bushnell!

I posted a thread on this before. Slinger gave some tips on first nine.

The course has gps in buggy so you will know the distances.

The downhill par 3 hole where you hit from top of the hill (next to halfway house) reads 144m from white. It's abt 135m carry distance to center of green.

The signature par 3, to island surrounded by water: just hit center of green and two putt.

From the white it's not long, keep to fairway better than to hit long. Layup to 180m is good enough fr the tee.

Mate, recommend a range finder if u can. You will enjoy the round much more

Just watch your putts and monkeys!

The greens can be quite fast. I played there last month and the greens were going at 10.6-10.8.

Watch out for monkeys on the 2 Par 3s that are near the half-way house. They are quite a nuisance.

Other than that, it's a nice course.
