The conversion to BFG wedges is now complete....

First: Porn pictures:









I was fitted for standard wedge 51, 55 on FST regular which was at least 15g lighter than my ex wedges on Cally forged on KBS hi rev stiff. The lighter wedges allowed me to have smoother partial swing compared my heavier Callys, which i tend to have a jerky takeaway due to the weight. Also i noticed that the lie of my wedges is flatter which digs lesser (usually my divots got earthworms coming out)

While i must say that I don't have a great spin story to tell about ball spinning back or stopping dead (a few which I think I was lucky but my aim is to do it on demand), the BFG wedge feels very friendly when chipping and partial swings and the lighter weight adds a lot to my confidence.

3 games later, I think I have gotten used to the wedges and yesterday Kranji had a few good chips and pitching. But my favourite of the day was this..... anyway this was the only one i had time to take pictures because I reach the green sooner, my flightmates overshot the green and had to chip it back to the pin......

My new toys done by Eric and gang at BFG. Bent 1 degree stronger. Now i have a 50* / 54* / 58*

Have to learn all over again because now chipping and pitching comes with a hop, skip and stop. Excellent braking. Golf ball has ABS and do note that I was using range balls. Wonders what happens when I use my game ball.

PS: I let a scratch golfer try my 58* and after 2 shots, he wanted to buy it off me. Told him the only was he is ever going to get one is to go to BFG in Singapore.

Thinking to match KBS Hi-Rev with it, do you think still need Groove for more bite?

Is there any custom grind?


Also while you guy also become Callaway Perf Labs, wonder any PK vs MD Tour Grind :p
