BFG Forged Milled Wedges (Final Photos on Page 10)

Speaking of this wedge, today just witness a friend who just go BFG once a year to splurge, who recently go this wedge in Kranji last hole, he practically top the ball from outside the green with this wedge and the ball roll so fast that it hit the pin and drop in for his 1st birdie. So wonder why he need to change putter

I have seen a lot of people who is 'brand-minded', who always have to play something that the pro play, switch to play this wedge once they tried. They just cannot believe how good these are, especially coming from an 'unknown' company from Singapore.

I am extremely particular with wedges myself, having played the same wedge and the same grind since 2003. Tried to switch a few times, always went back to the trusty TM RAC wedges. The switch to these wedges is instant. Literally...

My 2cents worth of the BFG 58* wedge after 18 holes yesterday:
i. The bite and spin of the BFG wedge are scary.
ii. The looks of the club is damn pleasing to the eye.
iii. Very nice and soft feel.
iv. M v comfortable with the weight.

thank you Simon.....if we do not have the R&A and USGA ruling that BFG wedges are conforming, most people will think they are not....when the first prototype came out and we tried it, the first time we did was go back to check the grooves and ensure that they conform to the rules of golf. i believe its the location of the sweet spot and the weight perimeter that help make a difference.

Showed them to one of my golfing mate last Sat. He loved the bounce and feel of the club. Fell in love with it immediately. The first thing he asked was: "Are these even conforming?" -> YES!

I spent the last 2 weeks in San Francisco and Las Vegas. Frequented The Las Vegas Golf & Tennis Centre and spoke to Mark, one of the certified TM and Ping fitter there about equipments. He was quite intrique and fascinated by the BFG wedge.

He told me he had heard a lot of good things about the irons and wedges even though they don't carry/market them.

Just thought of giving a short review of the wedges!
Want to thank the bro here who sold me his fishy wedges and i was lucky to capture a great buy.
At 1st felt hesitant to bring the wedges back to bfg to change the grip. (since i did not buy the wedges from DGman)
But some how or rather i just return to bfg and was trying to go in change the grip and move off.
Was about to move off and saw DGman so he came over take a look at the wedges and he told me "Got to support our own product mah!" than he help me bring the wedges to the back and wash them clean them up and ask the fitter to adjust the lie for me, all without me asking and other was i did not buy the wedges off him. that show how passionate and pride he has for his own products! i am really impress of his dedication and commitment!

off i go yesterday to palm villa, and only use the fishy wedges even when i have a 58* vokey in my bag.
I must say it is really easy to hit! i did not duff any chip shot with the wedges.
The wedge checks really well and i manage to get out of 3 bunks with 1 try using the wedges.
Somehow or rather the wedges just compliment with my bfg irons. Maybe the swing weight or anything, it is lighter than vokey, but i can feel my shots better.
i am intending to sell my other wedges to fund the X9.
This is just the 1st time using the wedges, i am sure it will give me alot of better scores coming up soon!

Btw DGman, do you still have any X9 in the den?

i think more and more players who are attracted to major brands are beginning to sit up and take note. i have several national junior players who came looking for them and because they saw what it can do and how it feels...

swee, i will come by to get the zen copper putter and do up a X9 wedge maybe tuesday or wednesday during lunch time if i can.
Till than now is time to sell some of my ware to fund this buying! hehe.
