| looking for a replacement for 4 year old lob wedge and was considering buying the bronze Callaway forged wedge for two reasons.....1. it looks good & 2. i don't have a callaway club in my rojak bag.....excellent reasons I know but does anyone have any recommendations or reviews?
I was in Pan-West and they didn't have stock for the Callaway, otherwise it would already have been in my bag....also, they didn't have the vokey (not forged, i know) in low bouce.....i couldn't find the 588 in low bounce either....how's the mizuno wedge?

| i hear good things about the MPT-11
MPR-12 is newer.. no idea.
Mizuno says the MPR-12, R stands for Round shape, the T is Tear drop shape.
The grooves are the same for both series. shallow and wider for the high loft and narrow and deep for the lower lofts.
so only the head shape and the sole a little diff

| I'm happy with my mp-T10 too... Albeit firmer than a typical forged wedge.
Technically newer model even better?

| Callaway forged are good. Excellent turf interaction. Used at gardens during HSBC so the lie was tight, yet cally was able to slide under ball with no issues. Softer than sm4. As soft as mpt11.
Mpt11 also good. The us version comes with dg spinner. Buy fr eBay.
Either club is good choice.

| For what it's worth, try the new TM's ATV. Despite the wide sole, it is very versatile and it is a great performer. It knocks my 9-year long love affair with TM's RAC line. | |

xFts? Are you talking about TM's previous model, ones you can replace the face?

| i'm using the bronze cally forged wedges on fst hi rev shafts... excellent spin off and easy to use in the rough.. asthetics wise...once you start to roughen them up through regular play, it has the nice worn look to it as well also considering yonex wedges if only they come in the same color haha | |

| I used to have a Cleveland and two Vokey wedges ... and ever since I got rid of the Cleveland and made a complete Vokey set my short game has improved quite a bit! My point isnt that Vokey is better or not ... far from it ... rather I feel having a set of the same wedges really improves consistency and feel imho | |

Second that, you get the same feel with all the wedges.

| The sole might look like too big for some but they actually work. It is way better than the Older ones, IMO. Definitely feels much better, too. I found with the interchangeable face, it feels dead. | |

Hmmm...while this goes against my rojak philosophy, i must say it's a damn fine point....my go to club around the greens is my 52* but my 60* is what i use from 70m and in and also from the sand......

| You can try the Scratch forged wedge with Dynamic Gold True Temper Steel Shaft and a white Black Widow Grip.

| I use fourteens. I was skeptical at first but I've come to like them a lot. They feel amazing and give solid control. This is coming from a golf joker like myself. Imagine what they can do for a pro like yourself! | |
