| I am posting this message on behalf of a friend. His car boot was unfortunately ransacked yesterday between 4-6pm at Tech Point in AMK and his entire golf set was stolen by a scumbag. The set consists of the following: - r9 TMX Standbag Titleist 910 D3 w Tour AD Di-7s driver with original cover Tourstage VIQ 3w w 65R black graman shaft Tourstage U2 19* Rescue w Tour AD shaft Tourstage CB2 w S200 shafts, white golf pride grip and BFG red covers Cleveland 52* wedge Mizuno 56* wedge Tourstage 58* wedge Odyssey no. 9 metal x putter Scotty Studio Design 1.5 putter Besides the whole set of clubs, the thief also stole an adidas white shoe bag and a par of adidas tour 360 golf shoes. He has made a police report last night and could not find any prints. Worst is that Tech Point CCTV did not provide sufficient coverage to his car and without golf insurance, he also can't file for a claim. We are hoping that the bros and sis here can help look out during your range or golf sessions to see if we can nab this scumbag. If you do, please contact Dan @ 9025 2184. I know the chances can be really slim to recover, so we are just trying our luck. Thanks to all. | |

| Somehow I have the feeling that he is not a golfer. I believe he will try to sell it to make some quick bucks and I have informed some of the used club dealers to help look out also.
If he is indeed a golfer, then good luck to him. 人在做,天在看。

There were times when i found clubs on the course, either I returned it when approached or I just simply returned it to the club house at the end of my round.

I am not sure also. Seems like he has forgotten to lock his car. *sigh* But even if he did forget to lock his car, it doesn't mean that one can remove items from within.

| If the thief is not a golfer, I doubt he'll sell them in FESC, because it's a shopping centre not many will go. Maybe creative golf. But if he break it up to sell, it's hard to get it back unless the clubs got some very special mark or got name. | |

| If the boot was locked and then broken into to steal, that means the thief (burglar?) already aimed your friend's car for a long time.Looking at WITB, the thief also has good knowledge of golf stuff cos it's all good stuff. - nutty88 wrote:

| If he is indeed a golfer, he will either keep it for his own use or break it up to sell. But if he is not a golfer, I think he will let go as a set. In any case, we know the chance of recovering is almost non-existence, so we are not putting any hope on it. However, with the power of internet and the help from grians, who knows we may be lucky. | |

| Bro Nutty88, thanks for posting on my behalf, and thanks to all bros and sisters here for your support in helping me keep a lookout for the thief!
I guess the only thing outstanding from the bag would be my pelican 3 wood headcover(white, black and yellow in color).
The scotty cameron has the original yellow headcover on it too.
I know the chances of recovering my clubs are very slim. But i'm hopeful with the help and support from all bros and sis here. I have already contacted Joe at creative and he will call me if he has any info. I have also informed all the shops in Far East selling used clubs to keep a look out for me. Please help spread the word around to all/any used club dealers. Good luck to him trying to sell my clubs.
Once again... i really appreciate all the help and support from you guys here. Thank you all very much.

| It is a pity that the CCTV captures very little footage. Perhaps you friend could give the second hand shops a heads up on the items stolen. As the bros mentioned that chances could be slim, it still means there could be a chance that it might be recovered. | |

| There are some distinct marks on the buttom of the driver that i will be able to identify. the 3 wood is a very old viq model with a graman shaft. rescue also old model and quite rare. Tourstage CB2 irons also a very rare set. with S200 shafts. with white golf pride VDR grips.
SC studio design 1.5 putter is also a very old model and the gun metal finish has tarnished abit. my odyssey metal X putter also got a very distinct ding on the buttom.
My signiture pic is an older pic, but shows the irons and putter. the woods have been changed.

| Bro abadan, shh..... don't expose all the characteristics of your clubs openly. Luckily you have not changed to your new adidas golf cart bag or else..... Please go buy golf insurance immediately and you now have the excuse to buy new toys. | |

| Hi sorry to hear about your misfortune. The thief must have left in a car with your golf set. Too obvious to walk around with a stolen golf set. The cctv should have footage of all vehicles leaving the carpark. If the thief is a regular at Techpoint, you will "see" him again. Else any non regular visitor leaving the car park at about that timing is a suspect.... sorry .. maybe I watch too much drama.
