| I bought them cos I thought they will play like my irons in Program 95 in R flex, but they are playing softer. I had them re-spined & tip 1/2" to play firmer.
I also expect the face to be 'hotter' due to the velocity slots on the top & bottom, maybe I had too high an expectation.
Thought you might want to try both SS & Ti version before you decide which you want to buy (they are not cheap by my standard).

Jon, they feel great and easy to hit too.
Makes me wonder why the heck I sold my own to a customer. Yarra, you made good club. You got to stop selling yours away. LOL...

thanks Yarra..
by swing weight u are referring to too heavy or too light?
my choice of shaft will be tour AD though You really have to experiment with the swing weight. Most works well at around D3-D5. Having some extra weights might be very handy, ask any Adams dealers in the US, chances are they might be able to spare some for you. Usually they put between 3-7 grams in the standard heads. Try and ask for 9, 11 and 13. - andrew-golf wrote:

The XTD fairway is just as good, if not better than the RBZ. Again, only my opinion. I tried them all (1200, 1300, retail) and I fit people with them. The XTD is simply just as long (with the right shaft) and much easier to hit. I would say that the 3T (16.5*) is a better head for those who has problem launching the ball. It goes just as long as the 14.5*. But proper fitting is essential here, getting the right shaft to work with the head is the key. The only downside is the built quality. The toe weight comes off easy. It is actually a simple fix to glue them back together. But you gotta put the right amount of glue, or it WILL become rather low-launch and fade-biased.

| It's just too bad we do not currently have them in stock. Otherwise, I could have taken orders and my partner could take them with him to Singapore tomorrow. Hahaha! Seriously, it is that good. Whatever we have in stock, usually go out within a week. | |

got tour issue or not? It is good, forget the talk of how good the RBZ is this one is much more forgiving and goes as long. And I have to stress the importance of a proper fitting here, getting the right shaft for the head. I am sure my master can do it, easy. You don't need tour issue on this one, they are just the same. The only difference is, with tour issue you get your exact specs: lie, loft, face angle and weight. Even the weight can be adjusted by the weight cartridge at the bottom. And I bent some of these hybrids, something DGman can do. So, why pay double the price, now? Hehehe.. That Kuro Kage 100 that you get off me should do the job well, bro.

| crap. now i'm tempted too. but first, i got a question.
i used to have the adams pro black hybrid, which was a great club. the only thing about it was that the club face lacked 'feel' as compared to other hybrids. ie it wasn't as easy to feel which part of the club face was striking the ball. it might be because the club face is firmer / harder as compared to other hybrids.
can anyone who has tried the super hybrid tell me if this same 'problem' exists?
thanks!

The Idea Pro Black is something else. It is more like an iron than a hybrid. One of my pro friend told me that he's rather hit his 3 and 2 iron rather than playing this hybrid. Definitely not something for the high-handicapper. Feel wise, it feels kinda dead. Not the feeling you'd get out of the XTD.
