| Classy post round interviews from Scott and Els. Also Els speech was great. I hope Scott will rebound from this, as collapses like that have essentially ruined several careers (Vandevelde comes to mind). His golf swing is one of the best I have ever seen and he seems like a really nice guy and is good for the game. I had the pleasure of meeting Ernie when I was playing professionally and I have to say he is one of the nicest, most down to earth guys I have come across in the game. So anytime he wins I enjoy it. He has had a tough go of it over the past few years, glad to see him back on top. Congrats EE great final round to put yourself in position to be the winner. | |

| If I m not wrong, Ernie's kid is autistic. That y he donates a lot for autism. During one of the Barclays in Singapore, he visited some of the autism schools here as well.
Before I started golf, I only knew els, cos my best buddy in school idolizes him.

| Ernie said yesterday he felt something special was gonna happen, amazing isnt it? Adam and Ernie both struggled last few years then return to form after changing to belly putter and hired mental coaches hmmmmm food for thought (or for backside) | |

| c'mon Adam! Come back stronger as a player! ''I had it in my hands with four to go,'' Scott said. ''I managed to hit a poor shot on each of the closing four holes. Look, I played so beautifully for most of the week. I shouldn't let this bring me down.'' | |

| congrats to Ernie and pity for Scott as he did well for the 1st few days. This is golf, no such thing as age is an issue. With the age of Ernie, he is really a role model for many, persistence and feel makes it all..... | |

| seems like both Ernie Els and Adam Scott are using long putters. maybe many will switch to long putter after seeing them putted so well after the open | |

it depends as not all will like the feeling of pivot putting. For me, tried using it and it works for me and it gives me better confidences. Moreover, heard from friends that belly putting works better for mallet or half mallet putter.

| Glad I watched it to the end. Was so sleepy around 12.30am that I decided to go to bed thinking Adam will win. Changed my mind... got up and saw that Ernie was only 2 behind...and the game got exciting. When Adam missed the putt for a play-off I went like ooohhhh nooooo.....really felt sorry for him that he lost. Was hoping that he would win. So near yet so far. Anyway happy that Ernie won bcos I do like Ernie too. | |

I know you reserve that special affection exclusively for me. I am also very touched by your gesture. But it will still be a long long while before I can be a worthy opponent to you again.

| Ernie was into some computer games to improve his mental and eye-hand co-ordination. He was very upbeat about it after completing 2000 hours. He is suppose to do 20,000 hours to be effective.

| wah i missed all the colourful threads and name calling.
finally its sad that AS lost out the way he did. like i have said before....everyone will be awe by the ocassion including some of the biggest names in golf, its no exception. of course there is freedom of speech.
meanwhile, i am having a week off paying golf for a change.
have a great week everyone.
DGman
PS you can forget about the prototype razr. all remaining stocks for the asian tour have to be shipped back to the US. its that hot for now. i am looking forward to a 21 degree in case i play the Royal Lytham in my dreams.
MT can also keep his Razr MB 8 iron cos his replacement is on its way.

| think experienced in Open earned him the jug. He was being patient, putting slightly short in 3 of first 4 holes..never gave up and persisted on his patience and strategy.. yeah.. have to bring out the MB again | |
