my pet peeve w Punggol Range is the car park exit? No brains designer make it so difficult to make an immediate 90-degree left turn and use old technology gantry system that entails one to wind down window and stick in cashcard!!! So most times i do a huge swerve to the right then line up car to exit Very Happy

Good that no cars are desperate enuf to park themselves in the lots opposite the gantry.... cheers

Totally agreed! That's my biggest peeve with the place.

Otherwise, it's a nice quiet place to hit some balls.

Ya... but should validate those that go to the range ma.

Anyway, its a pros n cons thread. If they are able to validate range customers, it will move more to a win win situation for us...

That doesnt make sense. How can the authorities dictate that you have to have a car park on the land they have leased to you?

OK, even if a car park is mandatory - they can always allow redemption of parking charges for those using the range and/or have cheaper rates.

It is worse, when one forgets to do the swerving out to the right or first timer there...and you see him, waiting in his car like a cuckoo for automatic detection, waits and waits and then realise that it is a manual thingy....geez

This is the most probable reason, seeing how they are running the place, I will not be surprised this was the reason....like what you said end up like AMK Centre or Labrador park....

If I am not wrong, the land was leased by SLA to a main landlord, who then built the range and facilities. The range was then sub-leased to the Poh bros management and various other vendors. The car park charges are collect by the main landlord and not the poh bros management.

I am sure making a trip there, and having a go there for one session, will be the most accurate of assessments of the range at Punggol.

On weekdays, can buy 10 tokens for $50 which makes it $5 for 90 balls
Quality of balls inconsistent

Mats
Quality still good on Level 1

Parking
Kenya pay $0.60 per half hour

I'm still a regular there because it has a nice "kampung" feel where most of the regulars know each other.

Ppl I tell you. If you not happy, dun flood your complain here. Tell the manager lah. And stop complaining silly things like the grass if fake. You complain already the grass also wont become real.
