Shi Xiong,

Yes, unless it clearly expressed in a tournament local rule, all electronic measuring device to obtain distance information is not allow.
(Note that the committee may make a local rule allowing players to use devices that measure or gauge distance only)
Those model with the altitude and alleviation like TourV2 is not allow. Thanks Shi Shu

| I thought laser rangefinders are allowed but only for distance attribute. If the device can derive distance based on altitude, wind or any other external element, then it is prohibted in tournament use.
Anyway I am currently eyeing on either Leupold GX-1 or Bushnell Tour V2 (no altitude capability). What do you all think?

| I understand it is not allow in tournament day maybe in practice round for marking the fairway and green map, distance .. etc. (unless stated in local club rules)
If not, I am sure you will see all the caddy for PGA pro, shooting their rangefinder for distance rather looking at their notes for recorded information.
I use mine on all my friendly rounds and giving distance to all my golf buddy but not in tournament.

| Hi Guys, sorry to hijack this thread but I'm currently looking to get a Bushnell Tour V2 and have managed to negotiate with a local distributor for the price @ SGD$391.95 (w/GST) inclusive 1 year warranty.
However, if the purchase was for 4pcs or more, they will throw in a further 5% Discount which will come up to roughly SGD$372.35.
Anyone interested? | |

| Hi Golf76, i'm interested. however, can i check that when you say 1 year warranty, is this an additional 'local' warranty given by the distributor, on top of the normal 2 year warranty that comes from Bushnell? | |

| Hi SC, as highlighted by the sales-person, the warranty is only applicable in SG without any further warranty from US. Good news is that they are willing to give an additional 6 mths which is 1.5 year warranty total.
Hi Enwee, unfortunately this price is not for the slope edition.

| Enwee, Golf76 had clarified earlier. It's the non-slope edition. See his post below. - Golf76 wrote:
