I also used to track my humble decades-old beemer. But cost of tires can be expensive too!

But as you know, very shiok man. Miss those track days.

Very good as an outlet for our need for speed. Let out the steam in the track in a safe way. Also learn how to recognize when we are approaching the limit of the car's performance envelope (tires about to slip, etc) and how to handle it.

good to know a fellow aficionado.

You have good taste. I also quickly gravitated to Cohibas, unfortunately for my wallet.

It was cuban $, then cohibas $$, then cohiba maduro 5 $$$.... it quickly got out of hand cost-wise because once I've tasted the next level up, it's almost impossible to go back down,.

Which is why golf works for me. One round of golf is like the cost of a single good robusto.... and lasts much longer too! Laughing

I tried smoking cigars while golfing. But I find the two are a bit tricky to mix....

it does feel good to have a nice relaxing smoke & a good single malt from the low lands of Scotland, after a round & a bath.

Anyone else here into Music, Guitars and pedals ?

Wonder if other golfers face the same symptoms as musicians called G.A.S (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)?

When playing the electric guitar most would enter a phase where we change pickups, buy and sell lots of pedals, begin minor modifications to the guitars, pedals and amps.... all in search for that elusive tone we so desperately feel we need to have.

Whiskey.... Yup, that's good stuff. You have fine taste. I have fine taste too... but don't have the money for it.

So for me, I will just buy the cheap bourbon from the airport like Jacks or Jims then mod it. Idea

The latest experiment is soaking cut cubes of granny smith apples in bourbon for a minimum of six days. Then use a coffee sock to filter out the liquid gold from the apple cubes. It's suppose to make the whisky butter smoother. Don't know the results yet. It's just day 3. Will let the forummers know if it works.

The more I read the forum, the more I discover that fellow forummers are all sophisticated people.

Ahhh... another favourite hobbie... is to hangout at a friends guitar shop!!!

Dun care what whiskey or wine or beer ....
from tsing tao to mao tai,wild turkey, southern comfort, red label, ngo ka pi and 3 bian jio, as long as got alcohol.

Drinking starts at 5pm ... drink till around 8...
got ppl play and jam .... customer comes in also join in the fun ,... lol ~!
Den if any of them got gig ... wahhh drink until gone ... den go for gig... den get wasted further... hahahaha~!

Damn fun ~!
