Hobbies and Mistresses

Hi,
Just got back from an overseas job posting so looking for kakis who might share the same interests.
Wondering if there are anybody out there who are interested in mountain biking. Perhaps, when my bike is back, we can arrange for a offroad session in some of the trails we have here for a start.

You do not have to be a very good biker nor have a damn expensive bike as a pre-req. What you need is an interest and a decent bike with appropriate safety gear to keep you decently protected to start.

Personally, I always liked mountain biking hence my "mistresses" and would like to meet more like-minded riders amongst the golf fraternity. Also, I wouldn't mind guiding beginners through Bukit Timah for those who have always wanted to try but felt intimidated by going alone due to safety or proficiency or "1st time" reasons.

So if you have the thought or already am a seasoned rider, I hope that you might list your name down so that we can probably meet up for a ride (when my bike is back, approx. a months time).

Wish I had seen your thread two weeks ago. I just sold all my bikes, and the MTB was last to go. Darned it!!! Supoose we cud golf together sometime then.

For a moment I thought ... You guys are in soooo much trouble!!!!

But it turns out to be MTB... So anti climax.

well watermyforest, my love affair with my "mistress" definitely got me into trouble before... but another story for another time...

ditt, a waste to sell of your bikes, but golf together is still good, that can be arranged. Even better, get another bike too!
