Golfing in Phuket - Loch Palm Golf Club Phuket

Will be going to Phuket in June and intended to play a game in Loch Palm Golf Club Phuket.

Any bros or Sis play there before?

Heard that in Thailand caddie is a must and how much to tip them?

Good choice! i think its a nice course, landscaping is fantastic!!

I recalled caddies tips were included in the total fee paid at front desk when i played there. However i did give them equivalent of ard sgd20 for walking the course with me.

Am playing at Red Mountain, Blue Canyan(Canyan Course) n Loch the following week. Im flying on 04/06/12.

I guess u r on family trip cos only mentioned Loch. Else, personally, I feel that Red Mountain is a must to play if going for golf trip at Phuket.

If it happen that u will be there from 04/06 to 08/06. We can arrange to play together as only myself n a fren. Still pending if a fren(Loch member) in phuket is playing and he(play or not) will sign us in as guest.

Btw, yes, caddy is a must and the caddy fee is 300-400 baht depend on course(exclude tips). Tips is minimun 400 baht.

We had played Blue Canyon (Canyon Course) but felt it not worth for money, if you play red mountain first before Canyon course
Both almost the same price but condition Canyon course is bad compare to red mountain.
If you want to play Blue Canyon it will be worth the money to play Lakes Course. i had played both course will strongly recommend Lakes course

I really like red mountain, therefore playing again and would like to try Canyan course n Loch. Now, I will reconsider abt canyan course after ur advice. Once again, thx.

i would say both course is worth to play course in phuket

red mountain was hilly n challenging course compare to Loch palm.

yes, but if u hv play once on Canyon course like me i wouldnt wan to try again but Lake course i would play it again

yes you are right, it was taken on hole one tee box and background was hole 18
