Bad Fitting

Hi ALL,
I have recently bought a set of TM R9 irons. Unfortunately, my ignorance led me to buy a set without proper club fitting. The length of the shaft is fine, but the lie angle is wrong. It's non forged, hence there's no way to bend the club head.
I have since played pretty ok with the new clubs, better than my 12-year old Callaway.
Does it make sense to get a new set of clubs well fitted for me, and sell the current one?

is there any reason for you to think that your lie is not right for you?

if your lie is off, your ball will usually travel straight and only towards the end, fade or draw away from the target.

do not judge the lie on how it look when you set up. depending on whether you have a more upright or athletic stance, your club will appear different at address. the important thing to note is at impact position and not at address.

At the address, my club head was tilting up, which leads me to think that it will be the same lie on impact.
My irons are fine, not fading or drawing (my woods are slicing, that's another story).
I just feels that if I have a perfect lie on impact, the shot will be so smooth and natural. Currently I'm not getting that "feel" very often at the range.

What irons are your using now? Steel or graphite? Also it's hard to evaluate online unless can see you play. Btw if your ball is going quite straight then the lie angle should be fine.

I'm using a set of TM R9, steel shaft. Will keep playing, afterall it could be just the issue with the golfer (me).
