ebay, tgw and 3balls have them for a fraction of the price you need to pay locally.

There will surely be a difference, right? Notwithstanding that the clubs are from Japan, they cater to both the US and Asian markets so I'm quite confident that there will be US-spec Mizuno clubs.

Notwithstanding that the clubs are from Japan, they cater to both the US and Asian markets so I'm quite confident that there will be US-spec Mizuno clubs. i beg to differ, the spec on the shafts for the mizunos are simple shafts that are readily available, the Dynalite Golf R300 or S300, Mizuno Exsar IS4 Graphite (Regular Lite). so i dun see it as US-spec and Asian spec like how taylor made is. maybe your thoughts are from a US brand, that has a office in Japan that builds club to cater for the asian market, but right now its a Jap brand building clubs that caters for the mass market, in the us, they offer several custom shaft options. just like NS950 pro Regular, i dun think there's a us or asian spec for the Regular. I am using NS950 Pro Stiff Regular, but i contemplated getting my clubs from US, but the Golf House sale just tempted me too much. The best way to verify this is email mizuno USA and not speculate.

| Eiji,
Is the Golf house sale still on?
I been checking out 3balls website, some of the mizzy hybrids are selling pretty decent prices, almost 60% discount. It is pretty attractive.

| The new fitting cart for the latest Mizuno lines are impressive. I gave it a go at Edwin Watts today. Granted I mentioned that I wasn't impressed with their clubs before becos I tried those off the rack and they felt like crap. I decided to give them a 2nd chance with their fitting cart. It was a good choice as the clubs felt so different from those off the shelves. Those who are interested should try the new MP Fli-Hi Hybrid. It is crazy long and very forgiving. 'These clubs should be illegal' as the salesperson said. I was cranking the 3i 230yds easy on the Vector LM and I wasn't even trying to kill it. It was fitted with a KBS R flex hardstepped (it was the salesperson's personal club). I tried the MX-300s too. I must say they are less chunky than the MX-25s and 23s at address. Feel off it was quite akin to a trampoline springy feel but more impactful than what I remembered the MX-25s were like. The 58s felt more solid and hammer-like at the sweetspot but still soft compared to the Callaway 09 X-Forged. The MX-300s also have about 10yds extra compared to the 58s but thats becos of its jacked up lofts compared to the more traditional 58s. (The 6i is 2* stronger on the MX-300s) 1 thing great here is that you can order a combo set at almost the cost of a full uniform set. Eg. for a set make-up, you can go: 3i MP Fli Hi Hybrid 4-6 MP-58s 7-P MP-68s Their shaft options in the cart are pretty good too. As what I had been fitted at Fuzion Golf, the KBS option felt the best for me. They cost ard $950USD if you order it stock and ard $1.2kUSD with the shaft upcharge. The other option is to order it stock and get it refitted at the clubfitter inside Edwin Watts. Better QC and it will work out to abt the same price as the shaft upcharge from Mizuno direct. Very experienced chap. He does a mean satin finish on those shiny clubs and wedge grinds too. FYI (...TS ) | |

| Mizuno's are great! I've been using my MX-900s for years and they last forever. Good quality clubs which deprive u of any reason to change clubs once u own a set. | |

Do you find that the forged irons ding easily over the years? I'm concerned that with forged irons, they get more "abused" after frequent play especially in Malaysia where cow grass courses are aplenty.
