| Just kinda curious how many of you had tried winter golf before?
Winter usually being the off-peak season (and I suppose not many are crazy enough to play in the bitter cold) and Green Fees are supposedly ALOT lower than peak period. Plus playing in the bitter cold, its gonna be quite a bite.
How many of you had tried? Was wondering if I should give it a go at least once or twice in my life~

winter golf is no fun....

after hitting your ball, quickly go back buggy to avoid the wind chill....

| Who's game/crazy enough to try it? 2012, Winter Golf in Korea.
I was looking at this: http://www.high1.com/eng/high1cc/html.high1
70,000KRW would be about S$78 for the Green Fee. 20,000KRW would be about S$22 for the Buggies. 90,000KRW would be about S$100 for the Caddy for the whole flight.
So a round for a 4-baller flight would be 112,500KRW or S$126.

| Was in Nagoya over the Chinese New Year period. Stayed and played one round at this resort called NEMUNOSATO.
Fairways and rough were all brown, but course including greens was very well maintained. Was expecting the place to be freezing and windy as its near the sea, but was lucky that on the day we played the Sun actually came out. Had to start removing my 3 layers of garment as the day wore on, as it was getting really uncomfortable. was actually sweating in sub 10 deg weather.
Teed off from the white tees, as all the Japs were doing so, found that the course was generally flat and easy as the rough was really no rough at all. make quite a few pars and one bird on a par 3 that almost was a hole in one. btw, on this course they will honor your HIO feat by planting a tree in your name.
Overall quite an enjoyable experience, do give a try when you get the chance.
cheers
