| So, I decided to replace the shaft of my hybrid with a TT Crossfire cause I wanted a more stiff and heavier shaft. Turns out... I'm not as strong as I used to be. It's a sign of old age. I used to believe that steel shafts were the way to go. But of late, I think graphite shafts (for irons and hybrids etc.) may be better.
Has this happened to any of you? Where you suddenly realize that it's time to accept reality and opt for lighter graphite shafts instead?

| So if irons change to graphite, do we need to change our wedges shaft? | |

XF is stiff. Why? You want? kekeke, I was asking if the stiffness (instead of weight) made you feel like you cant handle it. but yeah, I am installing one to my 5 hybrid soon. Already reserve one TT XF from Frostee. She has no more R flex stock, was also hoping if yours were R flex.

| getting older is something that cant be avoided
so the question which I asked myself is....what can I do ..... I think the focus on short game becomes more critical..coz less strength neeeded.
so instead of chasing distance when that critical age is around the corner....chase short game instead

| I think age plays a role in lessening your abilities in golf but never a hindrance to play a great game. Skills and techniques inculcated is always there despite your age. | |

Definitely. I believe that with age comes wisdom... so I'll play a game which suits me. But I've just realized that I'm closer to breaking my back swinging heavy clubs than I thought I was. Just an awkward epiphany to have especially at the start of the new year.
