Played in Austin hill yesterday.
Construction going on around the course, bulldozers and trucks were busy even at main gate leading to club house. Dirt everywhere....
Club house undergoing renovation, only left cafeteria stil in operation, a few tables were set up at lobby area but food is quie ok. Remember to bring more balls as we can not find a proshop and no place to buy balls. Changing room remained the same- still same blue lighting like karaoke as quoted. Noticed the lockers now come with double locks double keys....
Paid rm 70 for green fee and 17.50 for shared buggy on weekday rate.

Course wise, now left 18 holes only, hill course (remained same) and Austin course (combination of previous Austin and lake course. The hole 10 mentioned above (tee off near club house at elevated ground) now becomes hole 7 for Austin. Hole 9 for Austin is like makeshit hole probably temporary converted.

Fairway is ok... I find rough is still quite unkept...probably purposely and cost me a few balls... A few greens were slightly spotted botak ... Others are quite ok with good green speed too.

Overall a good game for us, at time of visit, we understood from Marshall only 4 flights were in play...so it was a relaxing game, feel like no one else on the course apart from the green keepers. So having lots of fun trying to tee off with different clubs....and searching for balls....

Hi all,

Played yesterday at Austin Hills in JB. Good fairways and very nice maintained greens..... Very Happy price in weekend is RM 120
Just wonder: why is AH always so quitte: is it to difficult, facilities? Course has a slope rating of 131 and agree that it is not an easy course. but lot's of fun and can take yre time as no pressure from marshalls and other flights..... :

Are u sure? scratch AustinHills is a everything's goes wrong couse Evil or Very Mad

@Kengman:
bounce up n down with my game...... But I prefer the challenging courses. Tee off with narrow fairways makes me more concentrating, less reckless and (hopefully next year....) better scores Very Happy
