Anyone knows about Katana irons? KG 901 Ti model.

A friend passed me a set of katana kg901 Ti irons recently. Apparently im not used to it and keep hitting bad shots... so im just wondering, is it a blade type of iron or..? and whats the deal with these irons.. in general.

Are you referring to this?

Looks like cavity back to me. Looks like a pretty dated model, back to the days when panwest still owns the brand in this part of the world.

Hard for us to explain why u can't hit it though.

Yes, those irons. Apparently the description fits titleist AP 1 Irons too. Dual cavity weighted. Right now im still using beginner irons mostly. Or at least im most comfortable with those. Perimeter weighted irons. I remember trying the Ap1 sometime back but i was really too noob to hit properly with those. Maybe im still that noob >Surprised haha

I remembered when I first started, I use my brother's set which someone gave it to him. If Im not wrong, it is called palm spring......wah those clubs are a killer and freaking hard to use....it came down to the weight of the shaft.....I just could not managed the weight...those days, the technology of golf have yet to evolved....my instint is to leave them in the bag and don;t touch it.....so enjoy your game improvement set first and venture out when you feel more comfortable....

I think SG, there is Katana and Swordfish. Swordfish is the original Katana. The Katana is the PanWest version. Am I right?

Yeah i will definitely stick to my game improvement irons. I hate those katana irons. Inconsistent to the max. Sometimes i play with my friends burner superfast iron set its more forgiving than those katana.
