As I mentioned, IMHO. Wink

Personally, I found the 68s are better than 1957. I can't remember what was the other Miura, but I believe it was the CB501? I found the Mizuno feels better and more forgiving on the course of 18 holes. Again, this is my opinion through playing both irons.

I believe every player has their own preference and I am just posting mine. I don't mean to generelize things here.

Maybe I should put 'IMHO' everytime around, not just at the begining of my post to clarify things...

Bro Yarra,

no worries lah, I also think there are a lot of combination to the club itself not to mention our body condition (which also changes every now and then).

But I think you can also share with us lah. Specially the gem product from those manufacturer that you mentioned, so that the bros on this forum can also benefit from that knowledge. They can use it as a base for theirr search of their game iron and see if it works for them.

There are so many clubs out there at current generation, if you add all the previous generation, it's simply overwhelming. I think opinion from some of the bro's here are generally unbiassed, so it might work out better for ppl new in the game such as myself.

Very Happy

Thanks to all for the feedback. I know that one man's meat is another's poison and that club selection is very dependent on each individual's preference. Just wanted to hear from the other golfers here who have tried both and ended up playing one of them. Cheers.

I think at the end of the day, a lot of it just comes down to our heads. I'm sure that technology in irons these days will help make a difference, be it better feel, easier to hit, etc. But most of us have a tendency to convince ourselves that a certain brand is better/worse than another brand.

I'm currently using a set of miura irons, and whilst I'm not playing better or worse than before when I was using my mizunos, I feel happier with it (at least for now). So, just go with what you want Smile

If soft and feel is the decision clincher, the equivalent forged mizuno mp-33 is still the softest iron i have played over the last 10 years. And surprisingly forgiving even compared to the most forgiving cavity backs. I have had them in a varity of shafts and the best has been the ns pro 950. I think a shaft matters more for feel than the clubhead design. But before i go off topic, having tried a friend's miura on kbs c tapered recently, they are a sight so beautiful to behold, but oh my, they are tough to hit for me. Don't have the swing speed to load the club properly.

I have the KZG Forged Z0 and the Miura MB-5003s. Both excellent clubs in their own right. The Miuras were a gift from my wife - wonderfully soft and remarkably forgiving. My Forged Z0 was reshafted to TX Tour X-flex by Eric/BFG - A little more crisp on contact, but brilliant feel.

My Miuras are good to heow with, the KZG is good for getting people wondering what clubs those are, and both are great gamers

back on thread - i also have the 690MB and the MP32. Have tried the 33 and it is not as soft as the 32. The 33 feels more like the 690MB, and has too much offset for my liking.
