If there is one golf rule which I like to change....its this

I hv to admit, I am not very familiar with all the rules..just the basic one.

But yesterday, gotten to catch the Asian Tour (KJ Choi 's event) where Anthony kim hit the ball to OB...and here is what I understood what happen:

AK was debating with the 'umpire'(if that what we call them) if the drop ball when dropped should be buried or on top of the rough.

My take:
Damm....your ball OB.....to me, AK lost the 'right' to even debate how the ball should lie. you are OB !!!

If there's one rule I'd like to change, it's this:

- Mloy only plays off white. No red tees for Mloy.

If there's one rule I can add, it's this:

- Mloy's flightmates have the discretion to decide if Mloy should play off blue, instead of white.

In addition, any objection to the above rule will result in Mloy being penalized as follows:

- If Mloy objects to the above rule, Mloy will be penalized by having to give every golfer in GR 5-5 for the next 1 month. Subsequent rule violations will result in an increase in strokes by +1, i.e 5-5 -> 6-6 -> 7-7 etc.

The need to shout 'fore' or 'ball' for my wayward drives... my jaws so tired after the game...

I would really like to change the rule that says that if your ball is in a divot, you have to play as it lies. Doesn't the very fact that you have to "repair" or replace your divot with sand or turf or whatever automatically define the surface as GUR or ground under REPAIR????

I've asked this before and was told that it is difficult to determine what is a divot (though it's often obvious) vs. a bruised patch of grass. Given that it's uncertain, it's just hard luck that your ball ends up in a divot (actual or perceived) so you have to play it where it lies. I dislike it too but have hit some real crackers from divots in the past. Of course, I've also messed up big time

I'd rather there's only 1 golf rule: play the ball as it lies or take a stroke and distance penalty

mloy can tee-off whichever tee-box she wants.....

Easy to say for someone whose GIRs and FIRs are close to 100%

In course out of bounds drives me crazy!

There is no good reason why I shouldn't be allowed to play my ball back to my own hole if I happen to get a little wild off the tee and hit it onto the other fairway.
