Went down to Taka today, saw Nike golf got some bundle sales, driver + wood + rescue @$599(machspeed) or $699(VR).
And $1699 for driver + wood + rescue + TW blade (5-p) + A + putter + bag.

Went down to Golf House at Suntec today and saw the Nike Method Concept putter...

retail price at S405....expensive lor...i think golfsmith only sell USD200, shipment about USD60...

Well for all you Nike fans out there, you might like to know that Golf House in Suntec is stocking the new Nike VR-S Irons, FW, Hybrids and Drivers.

The drivers stocked are both forged and non forged. The non-forged ones are shafted with TT Dynamic Gold 90, while the forged ones are on MR Fubukis

I took a waggle or two on the VR-S driver, and notice a big difference in terms of feeling the weight of the head. Feels more solid, less feathery-light if you know what I mean :-)

Well, if it's any comfort, the driver doesn't come cheap...retails for $600 I asked the salesperson if there's any discount, he just gave me a blank face...

With this price, I'd rather go for the 910 D2, or just wait for Golf Direct to bring it in :-)

Just wondering if anyone had tried the new Dual Sole Wedges yet?

Headed back to the Green today with a few friends today only to realize that I'm playing a lot of my 52 and 56 within 50-70 yard range. Had to use the 56 and increase the loft by 'flattening out' a few times today.

Even though I din mess up my wedge shots a lot today, wondering if I should get a 60 instead of using my 56~

I still have 2 club allowance since I only have 12 clubs in the bag so far~ Decided to take out the 3W and use the 2H instead.

Since u have spare slots for clubs, just buy to try. U can always sell to me DS 60 if u dun like

The highest bounce is like the 56/14.

But if you look at the bottom of the specs chart, there is the DS Platinum which comes in 3 flavours - 56, 58 and 60DS Platinum.

Not too sure what to make of it though.
