Leg as in your calves? Do you stretch your calves and hamstring regularly? Usually if your calves are too tight, the sole of foot can have pain too. I had this problem until I regularly stretch my calves and hammies

You need potassium. Banana. Pocari drinks. Well before and during the game.

With due respect to your opinion...

I think it's the loss of body fluids and loss of minerals in the body that causes leg or calves cramps.

I did what Pushslice told me and brought along more liquids like Pokari and it helped. I didn't encounter any cramps anymore.

Thank God

that's good bro

make sure to stretch the calf muscles and hamstring regularly, not just before golf. Especially for people like us who are prone to muscle tightness/inflamation

I do it after waking up. If I stop, usually my plantar fasciitis comes back.

Again thank you very much for your inputs.

I thought doing some short cuts is A-okay.

Another lesson learned

I'm suffering from plantar fasciitis atm and I find that doing those deep-tissue self massages using foam rollers help a lot. Just sit there and roll using your own body weight to press against the rollers, roll each calf & hamstring for 10mins and I'm good to go.

And it helps relieves the knots in the leg muscles, which is good for me since I run a fair bit too.

For anyone that's interested, I'm using this foam roller called The Fit Bar.

Usually I would drink an isotonic drink, which in this case is 100plus, about 10 to 15 minutes before tee off. This allows the liquid to be absorbed into the body system before the game.
