Luke's consistency and why he is number 1

Just read the stats the Luke Donald has gone 374 holes (thats 21 games) without a three putt!?!? Longest streak in PGA

Talk about consistency.

aside from technique, it shows Luke's great mental strength.

I think he is deadly with his iron and that's why he will always 2 put since he is so accurate on his approach.

21 rounds without a 3 putt? WOW!! That's amazing. I think it's testament to his mental game as much as it is his short game.

My freaking problem is I have none...even consistenly playing bad ....coz if there is a pattern...its easier to solve.

Luke start the downswing in a smooth flow without jerking and disrupting the backswing with sudden change of direction.

It looks like an easy swing and a perfect time AND positioned release gets the club speed to what he needs to become a pro. Something called a perfect synergy on golf swing, damn sweet to watch.

I think Earnie and Vijay has the same sort of swing....
