| I recently bought a box of Bridgestone e6 balls, purported to reduce hook and slice spin, and plan to play my next game with them instead of the Bridgestone B330-RX that I normally use. Hopefully, they will work, otherwise golf is going to be difficult if I have to search for my drive all the time ...
For those of you who saw me at the last SSN trying to explore every corner of the driving range by sending balls from the left fence to the right fence with my driver (I was aiming at the center ...), u will probably understand ...
Here is to equipment (hopefully) solving my LOFT issues!
p.s. If that still doesn't work, I am buying a ^&*^&%^&*) new driver head

| You bought the wrong thing. Miura irons are what you are supposed to buy. Can shave 10 strokes off your score...... No personal experience. Read an article about that in this forum... | |

| or bro just tee up with 3 wood lah.. I have same problem on driver and trying really hard to break the mental barrier trying to hit the ball instead of swingging the club. Very little success so far judging from the result | |

| ok update from the 9 holes i played today ... firstly to reply to all the bros Tourswing ... I am a real slut of the "whatever works" theory! Asahi ... stop poisoning me bro ... I am very close to stealing your driver Slinger ... I stubborn lah .... still hoping one day I can be good enough w_chiang ... umm I am not as talented ... when I bought my Miuras, my score went up by 10 strokes and it took quite a long time to hit them in an acceptable manner, let alone properly Sham ... tough to stop playing when u work where I work lah bro ... did the next best thing, I stopped practising!!!! dmateo ... 3 wood worse lah ... at least I can launch my $%^$^*% driver Now for the equipment update ... all I can say is ... the ball F**KING works! Ok ... a bit of background ... I also went to see my coach over the weekend and he correctly identified my problem as a tempo issue ... and I did hit several shots today which were really perfect when my tempo felt in tune However, on the off shots when I was off tempo, the Bridgestone E6 did slice noticeable less on the drives and also on Iron shots. Short game wise ... did not feel much difference when playing my stock shot, however, I normally play for release. When I did have to play shots that were meant to check, the E6 did release slightly more (about 5-6 feet) as compared to playing the same shots with B330 or Pro V1. Putting wise, the E6 and B330 feel comparable ... both have a nice soft feel Bottom line ... I will probably be sticking to the E6 for a while, at 50% the price of the B330, it is still a really good 3-piece ball, and it seems to help my game p.s. Bro Slinger ... dun beo my B330 ... one day I will be good enough to use them | |
