| Hey.. just a quick question..
I am pretty damn skinny haha about 172/3cm weighing about 49 kgs so yea you get the picture.. and i want to change my vokey wedge shaft.. would you guys recommend the normal dg spinner wedge which is about 125 grams or a kbs hi rev R which is about 105g.. (correct me if im wrong but i think that once the shafts are cut to fit my 52 and 60 they will be lighter right??)
my main quip is do you think i will be able to handle the weight of dg spinners since i feel the current stock shafts are pretty heavy..
thanks! cheers guys.. | |

| With the wedges, heavy is fine as the goal is accuracy and not distance.
If most of the approach shots are with wedges, then maybe lighter would help. Otherwise, most of the time, you will use them from chipping and pitching.

| its really not how tall or slim you are but how much speed you can generate on your clubs and the technique that you use.
excerpt from BFG fitting form.....
Clubs that are too heavy don’t allow for maximization of clubhead speed and as a result may cause golfers to force faster swings, affect natural tempo, and potentially promote poor technique in order to achieve more distance. These clubs will allow a golfer to “feel” where the club is much better than overly light clubs however. Fatigue is another concern as swinging clubs that are too heavy will likely tire a golfer over the course of a round.
hope this helps...DGman

| DGMan is absolutely right! A short guy like our very own Lum Chee Beng can drive the ball almost 300 yards. | |
