May I reserve one? I dun know what spec I need but you do
Next thing I need is a driver head...hmmmm.....
Bro, u itchy ah?? Hit so long and straight with your 909, wat else do u want?? Take out your black ikasu and play la, taking up space in your office!! Aiya, the black shaft damn nice lor. I think nicer than my diamana because it has no graphics at all. Since DGMan agreed to put minimal graphics for the prototype, I tot worth owning it. As for the black beauties, I am still trying them out at the range (yes, finally have to go liao, playing from bad to worse of late). Still dun know why the black ikasu a tad "hard", not as soft as my satin ones. But I suspect I am not hitting them at the right spot.

| Finally I have the chance of trying out the Black shaft. At first look, it doesn't have anything that will impress you. Nothing at all! Black is the only color and the first though come to my mind, I am not going to spend money on this shaft. Without practicing on the range, I bring it to my home ground at Poresia to try. There was some raining in the morning. 1 Tee off - I swing the black shafted R9 for the first time. The first feeling was, the shaft is not as lively as the Graman series 5. Go to the tee box and give it a first try. As this is the first try, I am only using like 70% of my power; the ball flight is a bit weak and slight fade. The distance compare to my existing series 5 is about 15 yards shorter but it's still on the fairway. 2 Tee off - The fairway look slightly wider and I increased my swing power to 90%. The ball stuck with a bit of vabration in my hand, I know I am not hitting the sweet spot. Again the ball flow weak and landed about 15 yards shorter but it's on the fairway. 3 Tee off - The sun is out, the ground start to dry up. My happy mood start to kick in and I have forgotten about the R9 I am holding. I go for my usual swing and the ball this time fly strong and distance was about the same as my series 5. 4 Tee off - I swing the driver and the ball flight again is strong. This time it seem to have over drive my usual distance. Until now, I have 4/4 fairway hit. 5 ~ 9 Tee off - All balls hit the fairway and distance are sometime longer. 10 Tee off – After hitting 9/9 100% fairway hit, I start to get carry away and give it a 110% very aggressive swing. I end up with an open face and the ball fly toward the right side of the rough. 11~ 13 Tee off – After the 10 tee mistake, I go back to my usual swing and I landed every fairway that a driver can be used. 1 of the par 4 can’t use a driver so the result is 12/13, a 92.31% fairway hit. After the game, I return the driver back to Eric unwillingly. The next day I have to play with my own driver, guess what? I only manage a 7/13 (53.85%) fairway hit in Ponderosa. Poresia or Ponderosa Fairway easier to hit? You go and figure it out yourself. | |

| JC, thanks for the review.. This confirms your buaya status.... 9/9 100% fairway hit! After that, try to buaya/bait some bigger bets, so fly the ball towards the right side of the rough!!! On Sunday, DGMan offered to let me try that driver on the teebox.. I politely declined, as I knew that I'd probably be spending money to reshaft if I had tried it on the course (already tried it at BFG on the launch monitor). | |

The all black prototype does not appeal as much visually, saw the one fitted on MM's 3 wood at the Den today without the painting, very nice translucent brown in colour. MM was at the Den earlier too.
