Hope that he can show his wife that he can make back more than what she took from him. Are you SERIOUS! What she took from him! What about what he took from her.. Dignity, self respect, ability to hold your head up in public, he disgraced and embarrassed her in front of the world and you say what she took from him. It's all about money with you guys. I am reading the forum lately and just shaking my head, your comment is as bad as Duval's path. I know I know... Don't like it don't come to the forum... Sounds fair to me.

| Ai shorthitter. Noted. I know Tiger did her wrong by having the affairs. I agree 100%.
But she also further disgraced herself by taking as much as she could. Its also all about the money with her. She could have held back some dignity for herself and said she didnt want a single cent except a roof for her children, her children's food and education.
Then such comments would not even surface and instead the world will see her in a different light.
For all we know (and some married men here MAY agree), it may be Erin who created the atmosphere for Tiger to seek elsewhere. I am not blaming her but it may be possible. It can also be true that Tiger is just a horny Bas***d and that the affairs is all Tiger's doing. What happened in the background, we don't know. But what we do see is her taking alot of money, more than necessary and also that Tiger is guilty of cheating.

| Sorry bros if it jinxed his game, but was truly excited by his starting few holes, its been a while and I'm a big fan. Read Tiger's interview and he said he lost it after he didn't follow his swing check-list. v interesting to hear that, because I thought its usual for pros to avoid having a laundry list of things on their minds, esp in competition mode. Just keep it simple, go for the target. I think it illustrates 1 fact:even someone as talented as Tiger is plagued by swing thoughts, in his case the lack of them! My guess is that its only after you have fully ingrained your swing ie it is now your natural swing that you can play by feel. If not, the old stuff keeps creeping back in and its a mixed bag. Wonder if the pros on this forum can share more on this, would really appreciate an insider's view. | |

| Fair enough again your opinion.. Mine is...
She was humiliated she sought revenge..
Steve was humiliated he sought revenge
Strangely enough both from the same bloke.
That alone tells you something.
We are human beings first.. When attacked our first response is fight or flight. They chose fight and as I said I respect that
Tiger is trying to be all innocent eg.. "I sent Stevie a congratulations on his won" al be it 3 hours after Steves interview. Another smart move from Tigers agent.
You tell me, if you were cheated on by 14 partners you would calmly walkup to your wife/husband and say " never mind dear it was an accident just give me some pocket money and I will go away" if you could do that I would be very surprised.
Greg Normans wife took 103 mill and there were no kids involved and only 1 mistress.

Sounds fair to me. Agree with this 100%......nothing can equate to what Tiger did to his wife!!! Tiger's life was clearly no fairy tale or hollywood movie....unless ur thinking about the Loin King or Saving's Ryan's Privates or Schindler's Fist......

Steve having more ethics than Tiger which is abundantly obvious stuck with the first agreement and went with Adam and got fired for being ethical. Having an ego is not a crime, lashing out when you have been wronged is not a crime. It is being human.

| have been a fan of TW ever since i picked up this sport, or rather, i would say, he inspired me to take up this sport, despite saying that, yes, TW had to bare full responsibilties for what happen to his marriage, yet then again, that is his personal life.
I would just say, whatever past is past, i guess every man deserve a second chance.
he remain to be what he is because of golf, and i chose to remain to be his fan also because of golf. No doubt, there are lots of better players out there now, but i still hope he will make a come back, rock this game again like what he had done years ago....
at least i know i wnt fall asleep middle of the night watching the game...ops !!....haha !!!

| Tiger had given permission for stevie to work for someone else.. perhaps he was like a how a wife would challenge her husband "go ahead and do so and so thing.. see if i care.."
we don't know what really transpired..
I don't want to read into it and would leave it as that at face value.
i just want to enjoy it when i watch Tiger play sensational golf. strangely its only the few impossible shots that gets the crowd roaring.. and what people remember most. so that's what I choose to pay attention to.

Ya. and show the people who have doubted him and deserted him when he is low on luck that he is still Tiger with the sensational shots.

This is a great comment, and my point is Steve deserves the same respect, but there are people here making a mockery of him because he chose to speak his mind after being wronged... The person that should have been most upset was Adam, he said " I dont think it was Steve's intention to take away from my win" Pure class. Tiger and his agent tried to make themselves look pure by sending text 3 hours later saying congratulations. but still on this forum... that is my point, and my sadness I guess, and guys I can understand to a certain extent that you are not encouraged here in Singapore to express your angst or opinion, but outside you are! But still on this forum people are trying to gain points by ridiculing someone that "did the right thing" did the human thing... I know this is off topic a bit, and I apoligise, but once I saw grays comment, and dont get me wrong I hugely respect his right to his opinion, and then Duval's attempt at humor and I am giving him the benift of the doubt that it was humor, but his reply to me seems maybe it wasnt, I really dont see any place for me here anymore... As I stated with my debate with rex, I am not a Steve fan, BUT he was wronged... the media and Tigers "cover up machine" which we have seen in action many times, changed the direction back to Steve ok, tough luck money wins. but he was wronged and he spoke out. The only other comment and this is my last, is at Technospaz who I know and respect, and the only reason I do here is beacause I cannot find orginal post, sorry.... You stated that Steve in the real world, would have been fired because he dropped Tigers 9 iron in that water.... did you ever see the video? Tiger threw the club while Steve was cleaning another club, he juggled and dropped it..... it was funny actually and Tiger laughed, but of course he needed the club so it was serious. If your boss threw a laptop at you while you were not ready and you dropped it, grounds for dismissal? End of my rant... go the All Blacks....

| Actually, I disagree with Steve - I think he's an arrogant chap (like Tiger). So, his comments on Adam's win were uncalled for, but not out of character. Anyway, golf is getting more complex... I miss the old days where I could just hit my golf ball anywhere and no one would care... these days, one embarrassing shot, and the whole forum knows | |

hi pro totally understand your standpoint. Like i say " every man deserve a second chance "....and looking at Steve situation, he is not at fault at the first place. Instead, being professional, he should honor his word to Adam, since he had green light from TW. Actually it's quite nice to see how Adam react on his last hole, big smile after he hit his shot and the ball landed on the green, and Steve give him a 'Hi 5'... Media plays a big role in SW situation, creating lots of news....it guess that's what media are looking for....

| Shorthitter,
of cos there is a place for you. you have your right of opinion. there is debate, but I think it'll be a poorer place here if you withdrew from GR just becos not many share your views or disagree with you.
we all can see that Steve and Tiger are both no class acts.. they are human. but that's just fine too. Adam Scott is showing us the high road so at least he knows how to keep out of the media and hold on to his ego tightly.

| As usual, we all see the differences but most of the posts here have many similarities that we can all agree upon: 1. Tiger Woods is an a-hole 2. Steve Williams is an a-hole 3. Adam Scott is a class act 4. All of us are rooting for Tiger, the golfer, to go out and dominate the game like he used to...hitting miracle shots the likes of which can only be pulled off by the Tiger of yore....
So, c'mon Tiger, get your head back in the game, get rid of Sean Foley and start lapping the field again...!!!!
