Old Railway Land - What do you think?

There has been quite a lot of talk in the media about the old KTM land left behind after the trains are gone. Nature lovers have been asking to leave the "green" corridor alone.

What do the golfers in us think?

I think we should take this opportunity to clinch another world first...by converting the land into a golf course of course! Think about it...we can have the world first linear style/design golf course from tanjong pagar to woodlands! How many holes, will that be? 36?

What do you guys think of this idea? Should GR submit this idea to the govt?

you think the gahment is willing to part 6 parcels of land in Marina and town area in exchange of the KTM land, only for us to build a golf course????

I dont think Garmen will bite. They are more concerned about development and justifying more project to build more things there...

so near to Resort world...so near to MBS...so near to CBD...how not to build housing????

talk is that the keppel port will be shifted to pasir panjang. All the land in keppel will be redeveloped to be part of the raffles CBD and for exclusive housing. The pattern is already there, if you take a look at tanjong pagar.

There's already some many environmentalist who are lobbying the land to be a green corridor.....
but don't think their version of green corridor is the same with the greens that we want!
