Stiff or Regular?

Dear fellow GRians,
I always wonder whether a stiff or regular shaft is suitable for me?
How can I judge? Base on what conditions?

Based on your swing... I guess...

But best to go to fitter and they should be able to tell you...

Yeah I found fitting useful. Generally It is based on your swing speed. If you google there are tables online matching how far you hitna 7 iron to regular or stiff shaft.
