| Broke my Diablo Edge Driver when teeing off today, immediately after contact with the ball. Just submitted my claims to NTUC, anyone has any idea what will the compensation be like? 1. Repair and claim? (But looks beyond repair cos the remainder of the shaft<Gammon 5 lime> still in the club head.) 2. Purchase new driver and get reimburse? | |

It's not beyong repair, even if the staff is stucked. They have a way of knocking it out. Your claim usually the cost of the replacement shaft. There is max claim, check with your club. If really beyond repair, best if you still have the bill. May be able to claim up to the market price of the club, less depreciation. The above based on what i know a couple of years ago..

Better to ask than to end up paying a bomb! If you are member of a golf club, you pay an annual golfing insurance. It covers accidental broken clubs, accidental injury and even hole-in-one. If you are not a member of any golf club, part of what you pay to play in a Sg Club goes into golfing insurance (usually $2-$3). If you are not a member, it's wise to ask, if golf insurance is paid while you play.. I am not sure it's mandatory for all clubs to include golfing insurance as part of the green fees, i think it is, but i m not 100% sure... In Malaysia, i think some golf club assume that you are member of a golf club and may not include golfing insurance. Then you are in for trouble if you broke your club, hit someone or even has a hole-in-one. Most golfing insurance covers hole-in-one as well, and reimburse you up to (usually about $500) for expenses relating to a hole-in-one treat. Anyone can advise further?

| Claim from your insurance show them pictures change a Fujikura shaft send the bill to your insurance.
Or go back to Pan West show how the how reliable their driver is, they would pobably replace you with out asking u a any question!
My brother just broke is his driver change to fujikura shaft cost S$260.00 now he hit the ball further. I drive across Poresia Sakura Last hole blue tee with his new shaft!!

| I think serious golfers who game a lot or travel with your golf bag a lot, like me, should consider golf insurances for incidents like this to fly and play with a peace of mind. http://www.aia.com.sg/en/needs/for-individuals/protection/lifestyle/aia-golfsure-family-plus Annual premium betw 85 to 125 bucks only Once you damage or lose your club, first thing to do is to report to the golf club/airport and register the incident, date/time stamped. Then submit claim to your insurance company if you have such a plan. | |

| apsg,
it would help your claims if u reported to the club u are playing at....
such that the club will issue u a statement that the driver was broken when u are playing at their club....
u know NTUC stand for rite? No Trouble Until Claim.....

| Thanks for the input.
I manage to received a statement from the club house and submitted this to NTUC. Apparently the claim reaches $200 per club.
