thanks Lipp.

its never about how cheap we can sell because we believe that getting the grip right is the first important function in the golf swing.

its just a grip some may argue, but getting the right amount of wraps on the left and right hand makes all the difference at impact.

in business, when you have nothing else to offer, you priced it as low as you can. its survival instinct. looking at the likes of golf equipment companies that fail, thats the biggest mistake they make.

i had a lot of problems with my vision cos the last pair of spectacles was badly prescribed. through a friend i found an optometrist who charged me $80 for an opinion. a normal check will take 1/2 hour but i spent an hour and a half to fix all the distance which i usually work with. the end result is a pair of lens which cost about $600. is there a difference, huge.... is it important...very!!! so depending on your priority get the best you can or the cheapest you want, its your call and nobody should force anyone.

Buy Double Sided Grip Tape.

Buy Grip Solvent
http://www.golfgalaxy.com/GolfWorks-Grip-Solvent/PAPMICBMOCLLBPCL/Product

You can get masking tape at home.

Work it out to about USD$60++ excl taxes and shipping which will set you back to about USD$100.

Then you can save on grips which run about USD$3.49 pp for the Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2Gs to $8.99 pp for the Golf Pride Multi Compound.

Those DIY equipment can prob last you about 4-5 sets before you need to refill. Much more than you prob will go thru in your golfing life (unless you are like Sham, Agumon or Capt).

going to golf shop to change grip can get some 'itchy backside' satisfaction, can prevents buying extra unnecessary clubs, shafts, balls, accessories and golf bags.

however change whole set also not cheap, see the white VDR itchy backside liao....my tour warp 2G old news liao

also my grip master grip a putter i am no longer using is a bit of a waste...

Not petrol lah, it's the smell of mineral oil.....
JC,

I like the smell leh. Wakes me up on first tee off! If I had wanted to get rid of the smell, would have just use a lighter but I choose not to. Old school still best lah. Hahaha...

Airgun area? To use the oil there to help change grips?

Re-gripping is a tough process man, it's fun at the beginning to regrip 1 piece but when come to a full set, it's very messy and tiring especially those very old grip. Peeling off the old tape is a pain No
Even I know how to do it and can do it pretty well, I still prefer some others to do it for me. Pay a bit more, sit back and enjoy. Twisted Evil

not sure what the actual pricing is but it seems like a reasonable pl.
