- Let me just summarize the market rates for regripping in Singapore and let you decide.
For example: Golf Pride Tour Wrap(White/Black) with regriping will cost:
1. My Golf Shop - Tradehub 21 Jurong ($10) 2. Wiz Golf - Ang Mo Kio ($10.80) 3. Vinc Golf - Far East ($18 last quoted to me by Hendry) 4. Greenfield - Far East ($12)
Not sure the rest of places, but I find tradehub and wiz golf are reasonably priced for doing regripping. So far their workmanship is acceptable to me.
No 3 is Orchard Road price lor. Must pay for the rent mah. Thanks for the listing ChrisD, I learn something new too, and can go somewhere else nearer my place (better don't say cheaper).

| For me tradehub is enroute from workplace to my home so I find it quite on the way, Ang Mo Kio is near to my MJ kaki place so easy to drop off and take before my MJ session. So always go where is nearer will be more worthwhile rather than stay east travel to west to change grip. I find abit xiao...

Petrol cost more than the money saved, like happily driving off to claim a refund of $2.

| BM, $2 is just for one club. Imagine you have to do your iron set. However reshafting is only around S$10 at my golf shop and Wiz golf. Other places will charge S$15 for doing so. I was ever almost charged S$60 for doing 2 reshafting and luckily the boss came over and told me it's S$30.

That's the secret to owning a rx8 It's could be a secret to owning luxury cars too. Eg. I have seen ppl who drives Lamborghini, Mercs S class, GTR, Audi, BMW goes to these shop. Mainly I guess their workmanship and services are good. Rather than me just concern about the money.

| If interested to save even more money, please PM me...
just buy one of the SLIQ silicone belts.. go home and rub it on your grips...
The silicone will wear off and transfer onto the grip... makes it tackier.. and grippier...
just like those F1 Car tyres...

| DIY.
Buy A Vice Clamp http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004S9KO/ref=asc_df_B00004S9KO1489672?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B00004S9KO
Buy A Rhino Grip Cutter http://www.golfgalaxy.com/PAPMICPMEMAJNMEH/Product?ad_id=GoogleBase&key_id=PAPMICPMEMAJNMEH_GoogleBase
Buy Double Sided Grip Tape. http://www.golfgalaxy.com/GolfWorks-Double-Sided-Grip-Tape/PAPMACHAPHMLBPCL/Product
Buy Grip Solvent http://www.golfgalaxy.com/GolfWorks-Grip-Solvent/PAPMICBMOCLLBPCL/Product
You can get masking tape at home.
Work it out to about USD$60++ excl taxes and shipping which will set you back to about USD$100.
Then you can save on grips which run about USD$3.49 pp for the Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2Gs to $8.99 pp for the Golf Pride Multi Compound.
Those DIY equipment can prob last you about 4-5 sets before you need to refill. Much more than you prob will go thru in your golfing life (unless you are like Sham, Agumon or Capt).

i dont get it. Same analogy for golf balls. $100++ green fees $1000++ Golf clubs . . . . . . . 50c-$1 2nd hand golf balls that feel like rocks and makes a good walk spoiled.

| Had my set done at BFG. Never been there prior to this trip. I would say it is a good experience after all are done. It might not be the cheapest but Eric dedication and expertise won me over. Many bros here knows him so no need to elaborate further. Kudos to you Eric... By the way the grip size works really well for me now, having not taken notice previously. Cheers! | |
