| Hi all, apologies for the delay in posting up the pictures. This was due to my last 2 days being spent in the Customs Office, being interrogated for my motives behind wrapping so many SLIQ Silicon Belts around my body as I came into Singapore. They thought I was smuggling some contraband underneath all those belts, but to no avail, all that was under those belts were the layers of fat that I put on in BKK. It was a DEEP and INTENSE 2 days of interrogation, and the same can be said of the Beef Feast that we had in BKK. With no further ado, let me share the pictures with everyone to satisfy your hungry eyes. The spread On the left, the grilled liver which carried with it the fragrance and texture of foie gras, and on the right, the grilled pork neck, which was succulent to the bite, yet possessing enough crunch for one to enjoy the flavour. Our choice of transport and the banner of the restaurant in case you may be so inclined to go to the restaurant after seeing the pictures. All of us looking very happy after the meal... As usual, some faces have been masked to protect the identities of the guilty... | |

| Hi DS,
Of course you know me and I know you, as I have existed under many re-incarnations.
In my past life, I was banished to the dark realms numerous times..
After much meditation and repentance, my master has finally made me see the light to attain enlightenment...
This is why I chose to use the nick Master.... in commemoration of my Master....

| the very thought of the grilled pork neck and the ribeye is making me hungry again....especially on a day where the day temperature was 22 degrees and we eat in 18 degree temperature in April!!! freaky weather for 2 days while we were there. the temperature is now back to normal.
i think the Rage looks better in the mask than in real life.
also i just want to verify that young Esq Bate really work very hard to fulfil the belt orders. he had to go from supplier A to B to C so ensure that he got the white colour fulfilled.
the car was a bit of a squeezed but since i am the vehicle commander, its really not so bad.
sorry you missed this Botak.

DGman No need to be sorry, boss. Again, I put the blame solely on Master Bate and his damn silicon belts... I'll just gather my local gang to go sample this beef feast this week. If got budget, maybe search for desserts too.

| My last visit to BKK (not too long ago), I stayed in Jim's Lodge in Soi Ruamrudee. Its located right smack in the city in Ploencit. There is a small little kampung at the end of Soi Ruamrudee, where I had the pleasure of having breakfast aka desert, it was sumptious plate of Glutinous rice with Mango, then glup down a cup of local coffee, all about less than 70b...
Yummy!!!! | |

| Again...the guide book and even website haven't gotten it quite right...
Bang (pronounce Bhang) Kok means the city of olives. its not actually a plum and thats why the thai royal cuisine include an olive rice.
the old thai language was based on sanskrit which originates from India. Thats why Buddhism religion is so strongly rooted in modern Thailand.
the above information was provided by a former museum staff who knows the history really well. as you can see while young Esq Bate is out doing his chores we are absorbed in very cultural activities in the capital city.
Gray, please do your policing job hor!

DGman Ah... finally I now understand the real meaning of the Bangkok rather the "incorrect" version that says it's a city to Bang your Kok...
