PostSubject: Shaft spine   Shaft spine I_icon_minitimeThu Mar 10, 2011 8:59 am

Hi, any masters and expert there who can help me with my question?

Do steel shafts require to be spined or is spining only applicable to graphite shafts?

Are steel shafts already naturally consistent and therefore do not require spining?

Cheers and many thanks in advance for your replies

cos its pointless for me to say if its effective or not.....the best testimonial will come from those who paid for the service. go back to your studies otherwise you may have to give you know who a signed $10.

But my question is not whether spining is effective. I am sure it is.

I am just wondering if steel shafts have spine or are steel shafts natural consistent

steel shafts also have spines.. and spining helps to maintain the consistency of the performance.

haha...i remember i have read something about steel shaft, it also mentioned that steel shaft is not natural consistent and spining is required, just like normal graphite shaft

that is because the making of steel shaft comes from folding a piece of steel sheet and both end of the sheet were wielded...thus it is not natural consistent....

this is what i have read, but still not too sure true or not..keke

consistency = repeatability (feel and performance) = effectiveness = confidence

steel shaft, graphite shaft, they both have a natural bend point which stems from the manufacturing method.

in steel shaft, the variance in off the NBP and other areas can vary 5 to 8 cpm (in flex terms)

in graphite shaft, the variance in CPM can vary up to 10 cpm (shaft stability). in some case like Graman products about +/- 1 cpm all round. if you know the brands of the shaft well, you will know how to produce a natural, draw or fade biased drive with the type of head you are working with. but the player better be consistent like S70B.

Gray...just hit the god damn ball and stop mental m....bating.

DGman

Will let you know today. Doing a full 18 later in Horizon Hills. First time I am taking the crossfires out on a full 18. Last few times only 9 holes.

Maybe come back no need to m...bate anymore. Every hole can stim and cum.
