| Hey DGman, thanks for the dinner arrangement tonight. Food was good; company hilarious.
Especially like the fish(damn fresh!) and the chicken. Slurp...
Think Frostee took some appetizing pics. Will leave it to her to tantalize Yr taste buds.
Disclaimer: some pics are not 'complete' coz the dish got attacked before she could take the pic

| i think for a chef who operates in a 3 room HDB area in Lengkok Bahru, he has done very well last night. of course the standard is different from the Sands type chinese where 2 soup for 2 person can cost $776.
i think some dishes were 6/10 while the steam red grouper with light soy sauce and garlic, braised chicken and the seafood treasure was in the 8/10 range. The lemon chicken in the honey melon (nicknamed Amy Yip) is pretty outstanding too except the sequencing was a bit off. it should have been the first dish but its still a 8.5/10 dish
overall the price was very reasonable. $497 for a feast that fed 13 people and everyone was so full, when spilt down everyone paid $40 each but the boss say no need for tips and we ended up with a $20 balance with them.
Actually Ms Lee at one corner did seem to enjoy himself. the candle did not work as the whole place was quite bright. we had a lot of fun and as usual made a lot of noise. a couple of important deals was made at the feast and its got nothing to do with strokes.
DGman
now its off to Hubert to buy that 700g 200-day Angus T-bone to cook myself dinner tonite.

| the servings was big, especailly the Shark Fins, the bowl at the main table was over flowing and that is excluding the two bowls specially serve to Ms Lee..
Full is an understatement, it is the first time that that there was balance of the Abalone slices on the table.....
