HYP on the LPGA Tour

why pay cut....he was going to offer to buy me out and i work for him and carry his bag.

then he can afford to go on every tour stop with a player guest pass. you should have seen his face yesterday, i have never seen him so happy and emotional.

the drink is not all. he has a special gift from her at the end of the game and its not something that money can buy hor. when she pass him a drink on the course, the other fans came right up to him and ask him who he is....haha...boyfriend???

anyway its been a great week for Asahi and his loyalty to her have move her...

Guys, me on the way to airport now. Sad to leave after hole 6.....pretty gut wrenching to walk in the opposite direction after hole 6.....

Our heroine is doing well after nine holes; just need to maintain, dun push too much and the birdies will come.

Here's my account for the 6 holes earlier.

Hole 1
Good drive for centre f/w; in front of mika miyazoto by 40 yd.
Took out 3 wood for an easy swing to lay up 30 ft to green.
Followed by an excellent chip that left her with a 6 ft birdie putt.
Putt looking good, only to skim left (again), leaving her with a par.
Hmmm....putting wise, consistently missing left.

Hole 2
Another good drive that split the f/w. an excellent approach then leaves her for a 12 ft birdie putt. Alas, another close shave putt that skims the left. Par the hole.
Special mention to her caddy for shutting up some spectators making noise at the tee box when HYP was teeing off. As for me, I gt those jokers marked!!!
Sure to f them left right centre if they do it again.

Hole 3
HYP lets out huge breath before tee off. Booming drive down the f/w. tough tough hole this is with the pin tucked to the back.
Our heroine hit her approach to right side of green. Gotta chip in close for this.
She showed good mental awareness by moving off at the first stance when she was nt feeling right. Re adjust and chipped it to 3 ft, then a putt for par.

Hole 4
Nb hole. Dunno which clowns sent 25 flies to disturb HYP. Disrupted her teeing off.
Re teed and whoosh. On the green with 12 ft downhill putt.
Birdie putt tracking to the hole.....almost in then lipped out left!
A customary par putt follows.

Hole 5
1st poor drive from her so far. Drove it to left rough.
Undetered, she went for pin despite many treacherous bunkers.
Ball flew in, on the green but kick right into bunker. Most unfortunate!
Nonetheless, a fantastic chip out from bunker for a 5 ft putt-. Great up and down as she makes par!!!

Hole 6
Solid drive down f/w and then an even better approach for a makeable 12 ft bird.
Lining up, she makes few practice swings.....looking good.....stroking it.....ball rolls and tracks towards hole. Hand in my mouth with bated breath, the ball rolls in for the birdie!!!!

Phew wheet!!!

With that....I left the course with mixed feelings; happy for her birdie and sad that I can no longer continue. hope she can do even better from hereon.
Body may nt be there but heart is definitely with her.

Well.....hopefully I can get a chance to meet up with her next week!

No double bogey lah. 5 birdies versus bogeys lah. 18th hole was a bogey.

My apologies. A bogey. Was comparing the 1st round against the 2nd round where HYP got a birdie on the 18th which was a par 5. I took it as a par 4 then.

Looks like she is maintaining her game plan and consistently delivering the booming drives and GIRs, coupled with the putts dropping which was missing for her first two days.

Hope she can maintain her birdie form at the tougher 2nd nine!

Hey Asahi - were you on the AirAsia flight back from BKK yesterday evening. Arriving around 6pm or so?

She just got another birdie on the 12th Par 3....Yeahhhhh now -5 under in 11th position. Slowly but surely moving up the leaderboard

Bogey 0n 17th. Par on 18th ending with -4 the 3 days. Today -3.

Ok.....5 birdies against 3 bogeys for a 69. Good good.
