Old golf clubs

Does anyone know where would be the best place where I can dispose or donate old clubs? I am not sure even if 2nd hand shops would accept them but I also feel that it would be a little pity to chuck them into a bin. Was wondering whether there will be an association out there where I can give them away... any advice/experience to share?

I passed some of mine to The Salvation Army long ago. But for now, I normally leave them at Greenfields at Far East Shopping Centre for sale
