Do you guys share car pool cost when golfing in JB?

Thanks for support. That's the reason why I decided to join Poresia and I pull in my colleague too. He drives too. Even my colleague cannot stand this group of friends when he join us last year. So we take turns. Every time either of us drive we reimburse each other S$15. Most of the time it's only 2 of us. So I think S$15 is fair to cover the toll fees at Singapore and 2nd Link side to and back, including petrol. This is because we are doing it regularly.

As for my case, I normally prefer to drive and never once state any
Term and condition on petrol, toll issue. Out of goodwill, my kaki's will hand some
cash which I insist on not taking but instead use the $ to pay
for lunch. And they knew my style,I speak my mind and don't talk behind. But for those drivers who felt others need to contribute some
$ to cover toll, petrol, wear and tear... I'd suggest you tell your
Kaki's and this will help. Some ppl are thick skin, you need to ask to get,
But there are many who give willingly without even you need to asked.
End of the day, everyone wants to enjoy the 18 hole and play

how i wish i have a car man. student here btw. i think forking out 30rm each for the driver is very affordable. convert back to sgd about $12? better to pay more than less. no matter how the driver is doing us a favour. too calculative will only spoil the friendship/day/game. cheers for the drivers!

I used to drive in but after the CNG 3/4 ruling, I stop playing in JB becos too troublesome too top up gas. Not sure anyone here try driving in with empty CNG tank?

I do not golf in JB but am thinking. I have been hearing info that you do not need Malaysian immigration cards at the new link, just show you passport. Is this true ?

Bro, would you mind sharing the brand of your high risk car? Mine is Nissan, so no high risk?

Newspaper reported that at Ah Kun fish ball near Permas Jaya (not sure if correct), a Mitsubishi Colt was stolen right in front of the restaurant. So whatever car you are driving, it's still high risk. And I have seen flashy cars being driven in to JB, Mercedes & BMW are now a common sight in JB. But other higher end cars like Jaguars, Maserati, Porsche, etc.. were also seen. Wink

I think it's a matter of being unlucky. Don't show the public your wealth like talking loudly like saying, "Wah! Cheap Cheap! Things here are cheap", that attracts attention from undesirable characters. Shocked
