If according to Alfred, the champion got 2 birdies over 9 holes.....and assuming these 2 birdies are on index holes, so the birdies are net eagles which will fetch him 8 points (4 x 2)

For the remaining 7 holes, assuming he score net par for all 7, he will get 14 points (7 x 2).

This will add up to only 22 points. How can it be 25 which is 7 under?
If he is 7 under for 9 holes, that is very very scary.

I only have the final points, no breakdown, so can't enlighten. So it's as much a mystery to me as it is to you.

But kudos indeed to the four friends who played so well.

From the proud looks on their faces when getting up on stage to collect their top honours, their moment should not be confined to just the event itself. A Hall of Fame sounds like an excellent idea to trumpet their game par excellence for all to witness the winners prowess. Very deserving indeed.

Henceforth, none can insult the winner by asking "You won? Sure or not?"
