Do your Mizuno irons have a serial number?

Mizzy owners, do your irons come with a serial number?

I received my spanking new MX-200s from the US yesterday. And, they had a serial number on each head. I even got a warranty card from Mizuno in the box together with a printout from Mizuno matching the serial number to the order number.

However, when I checked my MX-300s which I picked up from GH, I realized that they did not have a serial number.

Just curious as to why there is a discrepancy.

Mine no have.

I think those no have ones are less forgiving....coz just like those illegal immigrants, they don have true citizenship, and such, they will be more violent to strive for livelihood.

check the spelling of Mizuno on your 200s.

i have no bunghole or am one hor....

i do not bung any of my holes... makes me wonder whether lawyers are really that full of it that they need bungs to control leakage... Very Happy

it depends on model and country.

at one point in time, the serial no was on the ferrule (yes the ferrule) on some models. so if the shaft and ferrule is changed, then no serial no lor.

look out for the grooves, the conforming ones are the real mccoy.

use a magnifying glass or bring it to someone who can help you lor....

I recall that for some GH shipments (of the MP series), the serial number was lasered onto the shaft, near the grip.

A bit silly cos once you change shaft, there goes your serial Smile

to be safe, I better try to paste my own serial number.....at least it gives the perception that its still real.

Oh, I also realized that my MX-300s have a serial number except that it is etched on the shaft (near the grip) as opposed to the ferule. I think that's silly given that shaft changes are quite common. Oh well...
