| I'm very skeptical, but still yielded to my wife and bought 2 Phiten bracelet, one for her and one for me. That is even though I know that it's a scam for quite sometime, have no scientific basis, pure hogwash.
She said it helped her back pain and wrist pain, but for me not much effect, my tennis elbow pain by 5% based on my optimistic estimates. Whether it's due to the bracelet or not I don't know.
My logical explaination is that having something on my wrist somehow remind me to keep my arms relax, which takes away the strain and reduce pain. And of course, relaxed arms makes better golf swing, which tends to help our game overall.
It's psychological, but helps, so why not?

I have the same effect with a Adidas wristband. Somehow seeing the logo on my wrist helps all pain go away.

placebo or not, if it works for you, go for it ! Yeah, golf is 90% mind gime, the other 10% is mind game. If a bracelet works, wear it then!
