ZEN vs Zen.........the 'Lo Hei' Game! Buy-In Payment

Golfers for the Lo-Hei game, please take note.

Yours truly, the or-gui-nizer is starting the collection of 'buy-in' money for the Lo-Hei game scheduled for 15th Feb.
After in-depth discussion with the two Capts, we decided to collect a round figure of $200 per golfer for golf and dinner.



Now, some of you all may be asking why $200 when the highest possible sum payable is in the $180ish.
Well, the or-gui-nizer aims to please so would want to make this the smoothest possible golfing experience whereby you just turn up, play golf and eat dinner.
I would bear the burden of collection, booking, paying and all.
Simple as that.
Also, the extra moolah collected will come in handy should there be some unexpected charges incurred later on during the game or dinner e.g. 3% booking fee for golf etc...

The money collected will be used to pay up for the game for 7 flights at MBGC and upfront payment for the lo-hei dinner.
At the end of the whole tourney, the excess money will be individually returned to each golfer by yours truly.

So starting today, the buy-in payment for the game will start!

MGK Ordinary PR/Local - $70.60
MGK Ordinary Foreigner - $129.45
MBGC Member - $104.25
Non Member - $108.25

Dinner
Lo-Hei Dinner @ East Coast Red House
3 tables of $498 dinner would work out to $1,758.43, including GST and service charge. Averaging $58.60 per diner.

Wager
Losing Team pays 70% of dinner and Winning Team pays 30%.
Each losing team member would subsequently pay $41 to winning team member upon computation of the whole team's score.

Format of play:
Fourballs Matchplay -
All four players play their own ball throughout; at the end of each hole, the low score between the two partners on each team is that team's score.
For example, Players A and B form one team. On the first hole, A scores a 5, B scores a 6, so the team score is 5.
The winning pair will be the one that wins the most holes.

So 2 pts will be awarded to winning pair, 1 pt for draw and a big fat zero for losing pair.
Then accumulate the total points for the other 5-6 pairs to determine the winning team.

Cap, only golf he 50%, the in and out he 120% thats why he see RED.

Asahi, I tried my luck with MGK asking for some form of discount since we have 7 flights. They got back to me and said the best they can do is waive off the advance booking fee of $10 for MGK members only. Payment must be made not later than 1st Feb. Btw how many MGK members in this game?

Yo mloy, me got the same deal too for MBK members. So far we hv 4 MGK members.
I got other permutations of booking from MBGC.

No worries, will work the best possible deal for us all.
